Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso succumbed to cancer on 29th July 2019 in Nairobi.
The 58 year old politician took her last breath while receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital in Nairobi county.
On the fateful day of her sudden death, she had been put under house rest, with a keen watch from the doctor, only for the family to announce her demise.
Governor Laboso had been put under specialized treatment since she received medication in India and UK.
While in Britain’s Royal Madden NHS Hospital , NASA leader Raila Odinga, Ambassador Manoah Espisu, Chief Justice David Maraga and Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony paid her a visit.
Former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto also paid her a visit.
