Babu Owino Successfully Tables Major Educational Change In Parliament

Babu Owino has tabled a petition in parliament to have all students expelled and suspended from public universities on Insubstantial grounds other than academic and mostly political to be brought back to their learning varsities .

His petition also looks into enacting a bill that will restrain universities from suspending their students for a period not exceeding more than two years

All suspended/Expelled comrades in ALL Universities/colleges will soon go back to class.I have petitioned the National Assembly to respect comrades constitutional right to education for it is my belief that we all deserve a second chance to make right our wrongs. pic.twitter.com/CgVXg8Fda0

In his statement, Babu Owino for SONU leader at the University of Nairobi, believbed that students deserved a right for a second chance to rectify their wrong doings.

Embakasi MP promised students that he will fight for their rights before he joined parliament.
