KTN siren Betty Kyallo has spoken since yesterday when reports went viral that she was headed for a switch to K24.
She has dismissed the claims stating that she is still at the ex President Daniel Moi owned station and she will not be moving to the new station owned by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Betty noted this after a concerned fan asked her if she was going to host her weekly Friday show.
The recent TV reshuffle tectonic which hit the country in 2018 was largely triggered by political changes and re-alignment.
The biggest casualties were KTN and NTV. KTN lost top news persons such as Managing Editor Joe Ageyo, news anchors Yvonne Okwara, Mashirima Kapombe, Dennis Onsarigo and Asha Mwilu
While NTV saw the departure of top anchors such as Larry Madowo, Victoria Rubadiri, Rashid Abdalla, Nimrod Taabu, Najma Ismail, Linus Kaikai among others.
KTN are said to have placed a counter-price against K24’s lucrative deal in order to stop her move.
