The news regarding the death of Miss World Nyamira Mercy Mokeira cut through her Kenyan fans like a hot knife through a cold butter.
Her death biography makes the news more painful. She had a painful death than anyone else could wish.
It started when she came back from an event in Tanzania , she felt sick and visited a hospital in Gilgil. After all, she was treated with antibiotic drugs.
But the pain could not go down, so she went on to lose more weight.
Her father called her for further treatment in Naivasha. Who later referred her to Kijabe Hospital. She had lost massive weight. From 45Kg to 40Kg!
Doctors at Kijabe established that she had Thyroid infection which she was treated and dismissed. Her sister was to take care of her at home.
But her condition continued to move from bad to worse. They shortly took her back to the Gilgil facility who later took her over to North Kinangop Hospital.
The then sent her blood sample to Lancet Laboratories in Nairobi. On 25th Morning, she could not collect the result of the sample blood test from Nairobi. She gave up her sole to the cruel hand of death by 11.30 am on Saturday.
The 23 year old model from Nyamira was hoping to graduate with Bachelor in Law fro Kenyatta University.
