Son to Bomet East MP Beatrice Kones died at his home in Kiamunyi estate, outskirts of Nakuru Town over what is believed to be suicide
Doctors confirmed dead Collins Kipyegon at the War Memorial Hospital in Nakuru after he had been rushed into the ICU unit.
“He was rushed here early morning for having taken poison and doctors did all they could do to save his live but unfortunately he died.” said a doctor who sought privacy adding that the deceased came with breathing difficulties
According to his close friends, he was having family issues.
“He has been having marital issues which we suspect drove him to commit suicide,” a friend said.
Nakuru deputy OCPD Daniel Kitavi said that he was not aware of the sad news.
“I do not have information about the MP’s son having died. Look for family members,” Kitavi recommended.
