A smiling Buddha was a trending topic for the better part of March 20th in the morning of Wednesday.

According to netcitizens, sharing the photo of the smiling Buddha would gift one with quick cash, or any good fortune without hard work

So it, the Buddha was not only trending in Kenya, but across African countries especially in Nigeria where it originated.

Buddha is part of many gods worshiped in Asian countries and largely associated with luck and wealth
