Kenyan singer Brown Mauzo has addressed threats from his baby mama Vera Sidika, following a public online spat over co-parenting and personal disputes. The clash, which has captured the attention of social media users, centers on accusations, independence, and Mauzo’s role as a father.
The controversy began when Mauzo revealed that one of his three baby mamas had drunk-called him late at night, stressing that such hours should be reserved for emergencies. Although he did not name anyone, netizens quickly associated the post with Vera Sidika. Vera dismissed the implication, emphasizing that she is financially independent and would not call him for such reasons. She warned Mauzo against involving her in publicity stunts and claimed she had receipts that could damage his reputation.
In an interview with Milele FM’s Ankali Ray, Mauzo expressed surprise at Vera’s reaction. He stated that he had not mentioned her by name and reiterated that his relationships with all his baby mamas are fine. “If they do not hear me several times, you end up going online, but if they did, I would never have taken it to that level because that is not who I am,” he said.
Mauzo also addressed Vera’s claims of independence, stressing that he fulfills his fatherly duties regardless of requests. “It is not a must that she asks me for things. You are just doing things for your child. Even if she does not ask, I do my part as a father. To all my baby mamas, it is all love,” he explained.
He firmly denied being a deadbeat dad, highlighting his close relationship with his children. Mauzo also praised Vera for consistently allowing him access to their kids without creating conflict. Regarding her threats, he stated he has nothing to hide and noted that private disagreements often involve “receipts” from both sides, but prefers to keep such matters internal.
Brown Mauzo and Vera Sidika share two children and ended their relationship in August 2023. Mauzo confirmed the breakup online, describing it as an amicable separation. Despite the drama, he emphasized his commitment to co-parenting and maintaining positive relationships with all his children.
