A Zurich based magazine is looking for a Business Content Writer, who will be in charge of writing content for the magazine and will be based in Nairobi.

Swiss Entrepreneurs Magazine is a Switzerland based magazine, owned by a Kenyan national, writing about upcoming business people.
Job Title: Business Content Writer
Required:
– Degree/Diploma in Media/Communication/Business/Journalism from a recognised University. – Knowledge of business writing skills/Experience will be an added advantage – Ability to interview, and communicate efficiently- Proofed track of record/and or at least 2 year of experience in a busy newsroom working on business stories (please share your work samples).- Should have an eye for details. A clean copy is needed for publication, free of errors.- Demonstrable understanding of the strategic role of communications to impact on positive business results.- Strong organizational/Interpersonal skills with evident ability to handle strict deadlines
Nature of work
– Conceptualise, Draft, Write and Edit stories suitable for our magazine.- Conduct interviews – via Skype and other means most convenient.- Proof read your copies before submission and remove errors that might interfere with the quality of the articles- Scan and analyse press releases for stories suitable for our magazine- Updating of social media pages; sharing links, graphics among others in a professional way.- Liaise with the CEO on what has to be done in the publication over time
