These two months sere not just shocking hot but also so astronomically strange that the weather man could not find a suitable superlative to describe it while warning the nation. The data recorded showed that the record breaking high temperatures averaged to 56.08 degrees which was above the average of last year’s data by 2.18 degrees.

This mark was high by almost six-tenths of the same month of the previous year of 2015, the meteorological department stated.

“The trend is that temperatures have been going up in the country for the last 10 years which is a clear indication of the climate change,” said Dr. Ayub Shaka who is the assistant director at Kenya Meteorological Department.

The key reason alluded to high temperatures experienced within the two months showed that global warming is to be blamed.

The NASA data showed that excess toxic gases released to the atmosphere has depleted the ozone layer which has contributed to exposing the earth to excessive heat.

“This result is a true shocker and yet another reminder of the incessant long term rise in global temperatures resulting from human produced greenhouse gases,” Meteorologist Jeff Masters said about the results.
