Kenyan content creator Carol Sonnie has once again stirred conversations online after confessing what she thought about her first pregnancy with comedian Mulamwah. The revelation comes years after their highly publicized breakup that left netizens divided.

Mulamwah and Sonnie’s relationship ended in 2022, shortly after the birth of their daughter, Keilah. Their split turned messy when Mulamwah accused his then-partner of cheating and even went as far as denying paternity of the child. He also alleged that Sonnie once considered terminating the pregnancy, a claim that sparked widespread debate on social media.

During a recent conversation on her show with fellow entertainer Oga Obinna, Sonnie admitted that her first pregnancy was not planned and described it as a mistake. “I have a fear. I made a mistake that I am afraid of making again. Do men have that? Because for you to get to a point where you have five kids, where you made the first mistake, second, up to the fourth. Do men have that fear, or is it whatever happens?” she asked Obinna while reflecting on her journey.

Her remarks quickly circulated online, drawing mixed reactions from fans. Some sympathized with her situation, while others insisted that despite her regrets, Keilah remains a blessing. Comments ranged from “Mistake na mlikuwa mnapendana” to “I hope one day they will patch things up and Mulamwah gets to chill with his daughter.”

Sonnie has rarely addressed Mulamwah’s cheating claims directly, choosing instead to focus on raising her child. At one point, she stated that Mulamwah had privately apologized and that he was fine with Keilah. However, Mulamwah publicly denied meeting his daughter, further complicating their already strained co-parenting dynamic.

In past interviews, Mulamwah explained that ongoing personal issues prevented him from seeing Keilah. He expressed hope that one day, circumstances would change and allow him to be part of his daughter’s life. He also admitted that his relationship with his current partner, Ruth K, played a role in his split with Sonnie, noting that things had been stable before Ruth entered the picture.

Despite the ongoing drama, Sonnie continues to build her brand as a content creator and mother. Mulamwah, on the other hand, has remained active in the entertainment industry, although his personal life often overshadows his professional milestones.

The confession about her pregnancy adds another layer to the long-running saga between the two, keeping fans watching closely to see if reconciliation, at least for co-parenting, will ever be possible.
