Influencer Cera Imani has shared the details behind her sudden move to a new apartment, revealing that the decision came after a terrifying break-in at her previous residence. In a series of videos posted to her Instagram Stories, Imani gave fans a glimpse into the packing process as movers packed her belongings into boxes, ready for the big switch.

The influencer disclosed that the reason for her abrupt relocation was a frightening encounter with a group of goons who stormed her apartment building. According to Imani, about 20 youths armed with long rods wreaked havoc at the gates of her building, shattering windows and causing significant damage. The terrifying incident left Imani feeling unsafe, leading her to make the difficult decision to move out, even though she was reluctant to leave behind the beauty and the spectacular views of her former home.

“I wasn’t planning on leaving, but the attack made me realize my safety comes first,” Imani shared in one of her stories, expressing her discomfort with staying in a place where she no longer felt secure. She noted that the damage caused by the goons was extensive, with shattered glass seen all around the building, amplifying her fears of a potential repeat of the attack.

Despite the distress, Cera Imani quickly found a new home. She shared snippets of her new apartment on Instagram, showing her followers around the fresh space. The new place is similar to her old one, offering beautiful views and a modern aesthetic. The apartment’s pristine white walls and brown-edged doors give it a cozy yet sophisticated feel, and it was clear from the clips that Imani was excited about the new chapter in her life.

In the videos, cleaners can be seen meticulously washing and arranging the apartment, preparing it for Imani’s move-in. She was also seen excitedly sharing the views of the new neighborhood with one of her neighbors, who called her from their own apartment to welcome her to the area. This sense of community was a welcome change for Imani, who had spent the past week in a state of anxiety due to the attack.

While she was sad to leave her former apartment, the influencer expressed relief at finally being in a safer environment. Imani’s new apartment will be her sanctuary for the foreseeable future, providing her with peace of mind that she didn’t have in the days following the break-in.

In other news, Cera Imani recently denied claims that her ex-boyfriend, Khalif Kairo, bought her a KSh 350,000 necklace during their time together. The influencer had been spotted in a video trying on an expensive piece of jewelry during a trip to Asia, leading fans to believe it was a gift from Kairo. However, Imani set the record straight, explaining that she never received the necklace and had simply tried it on in the store.

As Cera Imani continues to move forward, her decision to prioritize her safety and embrace a new home signals her resilience and determination to move past the traumatic experience, leaving behind a chapter of fear for a fresh start in a more secure space.
