The Matatu which is still very new, is said to find its power and mighty at night. This is what the CNN crew wanted to experience.

The Matatu crew finally did a piece of the story with the reporters, but one thing that stood out is the fact that the Matatu culture is finally gaining the international recognition after being in the industry for decades.

The industry is purely another form of applying and commercializing art. And creating anew form and source of employment for young artists.

It should be noted that about 5 years ago, government had outlawed matatu culture before Uhuru Kenyatta came at its rescue and legalized it again
