The young looking woman in undated video desperately calls for emergent rescue from her employers who turned into cruel tormentors
Identified herself as Njeri Mwaura from Limuru town, says that she is in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and her agents are in Nairobi’s Accra Road.
I have stayed for four days without food, I have no strength. I’m in the toilet as I record this video, if I’m found, they might kill me. Please, please fellow Kenyans help me, she lamented with tears and sadness filled in her eyes.
Please my fellow Kenyan’s do not let me die here, please help me, cried Njeri.
This is just a tear drop among the many cases of Kenyan domestic workers who seek green pastures in the gulf region.
Previously many have complained of torture, sexual harassment, starvation and violation of their rights among other cardinal problems.
Some have been killed or committed suicide at extreme levels.
Kenyan government on their side, have continuously warned Kenyans from travelling to the middle east in search for jobs, and even so advised them to use authorized agents.
However it has been criticized for failing to look after its own citizens in these Arabian states.
The heinous cases that has happened in full knowledge of Arabian governments, has been dealt with favoritism to the accused.
