A concerned Kenyan has schooled Daily Nation over the use of ‘rowdy’ and ‘protests’.
During the recent controversial talk delivered by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, Daily Nation reported that the students were ‘rowdy’ contrary to the scenes from the grounds which showed them objecting President Museveni’s talk.
With that, the police lobbed tears, the protests became more profound
The use of the word ‘rowdy’ was used to deter the message the students wanted to pass.
President Museveni’s speech was objected by a section of the students who believed that Uganda’s Head of State had ruled the nation for 33 years turning power into anarchy and oppressing emerging politicians such as Bobi Wine and Kizza Besigye
