David, with a ring in his hand, called into the show under the guise of a fan. “With the ring in my hand and a well-orchestrated call-in plan, I pretended to be a fan,” Osiany recalled in a heartfelt post. “She asked, ‘Nani mwenzangu?’ and I answered, ‘Mimi naitwa David Machel… mpenzi wangu, umekuwa mwanamke bora kuliko wote. Will you marry me, my friend?’”
