Kenyan content creator Millicent Ayuwa, popularly known as Dem wa Facebook, has finally broken her silence following the marriage of her former crush, Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang, to Chanelle Kittony. The wedding, which took place on July 12, ignited a flurry of social media reactions, with netizens poking fun at Dem wa Facebook for her past public declarations of affection toward the senator.

The colourful engagement ceremony held in Trans Nzoia was attended by many notable personalities, including veteran politician Zipporah Kittony, Chanelle’s grandmother, and various Kenyan leaders. Allan Chesang and Chanelle Kittony’s union was met with joyous celebrations, but it also reignited conversations online, particularly about Dem wa Facebook’s connection to Chesang.

Many online users revisited Dem wa Facebook’s playful antics, where she openly expressed her admiration for Chesang and even asked him out on a date. Social media commentators didn’t hold back with humorous and teasing remarks, with some questioning how she was handling the senator’s marriage.

Responding to the online buzz, Dem wa Facebook told TUKO.co.ke that her previous interactions with Allan Chesang were purely comedic and part of her content creation. “Chesang ni boss wangu and I respect that. Chanelle too is my friend hii mambo ya crush it was for comedy, nothing serious,” she explained.

She further emphasized that her relationship with the senator is professional and respectful. “They’re both my friends,” she said, congratulating the newlyweds warmly. “Congratulations, my boss, may God bless his marriage.”

The senator’s family also shared heartfelt messages during the wedding celebrations. Chesang’s father praised his son’s maturity and assured his in-laws that their daughter would be well cared for. He encouraged young people to take marriage seriously, reflecting on his own experience. Meanwhile, Zipporah Kittony described her granddaughter as humble and urged Chesang to cherish and protect her.

Dem wa Facebook’s lighthearted approach to the situation resonated with many fans, who appreciated her honesty and grace in addressing the matter. Her openness about her content-driven crush reminds fans of her creative persona while highlighting the respect she holds for both Chesang and his wife.

This episode adds another memorable chapter to Dem wa Facebook’s career as one of Kenya’s most beloved and witty content creators, known for blending humour with real-life moments.
