The flattening of kiosks near rape scandal led Moi Girls High School called for demonstrations from residents of Makina area in Kibra Constituency.
This services were done under the close eye of National Disaster Management Unit with a bulldozer from Nairobi County.
During then, tea gas and shots were fired in the air to send off angry mobs.
The drama was livened by the demolition of a water tank which served as a precious commodity in the area. Youths most of them traders, engaged police with rocks.
This was largely thought to be a knee jerk reaction from the government.
This came as Education CS Amina Mohammed dissolved the school’s managing board as well as sending off the school principal.
