Residents of Munongo, in Busia county claim a lake has deepened to 70M and is steadily eating up their treasured lands along the way.
This comes at a time when Kenyans are experiencing a heavy dry spell of rainfall as the weather man had foreseen.
These reports were widely spread on social media calling the government to reclaim such lands and conserve such waters for the dry seasons being experienced countrywide
