Diamond Platnumz was left counting huge losses after he was robbed off his expensive diamonds and gold medals worth 1.8M Kenya shillings.

The unfortunate event happened during his first ever show of his famed Wasafi Festival  that kickked off in Mtwara, Tanzania on last Saturday.

The medals were stripped off his body while mingling with his fans in the crowd.

“Zile zilikuwa white gold na diamond nilinunua Marekani. Sikumbuki lakini hazishuki million arubanne. Nilijua haziwezi kung’oka, alivyotokea mtu ghafla akazipull nilipatwa na shock,” shocked Diamond said after the incident.

The much hyped show lived to the bills and expectations as top Wasafi Records artists also entertained the party-goers.

Other invited artists who performed were Dudu Baya and Navy Kenzo.

The show is slated to go round East Africa with the artists expected to rock Nairobi and Mombasa before the start of 2019.
