Kenyan YouTuber and content creator Diana Marua recently received a jaw-dropping gift from her husband, singer Bahati—a pink G-Wagon Brabus reportedly valued at KSh 45 million. While the luxurious gesture initially drew admiration, a video showing the car parked at a modest garage quickly triggered a whirlwind of reactions online.

The flashy SUV, known for its elite performance and bold design, was showcased in an emotional video where Diana broke down in tears upon receiving it. But just weeks later, a clip surfaced showing the same vehicle in a rather unremarkable garage, prompting mixed responses from fans and critics alike.

Some questioned the condition and authenticity of the high-end Brabus, citing its unexpected location and speculating that it may have been rented rather than purchased. Others defended the couple, urging the public not to jump to conclusions or compare themselves to influencers based on online appearances.

Social media users flooded platforms with opinions, with one quipping that the car was “a Suzuki Maruti in disguise,” while another claimed it had been returned to a rental yard. On the flip side, some reminded Kenyans to mind their own business and avoid letting influencer lifestyles put unnecessary pressure on them.

The discussion didn’t stop at the car. In a separate video, Diana Marua voiced her frustration about the couple’s living situation. She pointed out the irony that their combined car collection was worth more than their current house, expressing her desire for a larger home. She also mentioned the discomfort of driving such an expensive vehicle over the potholes in Kamakis, hinting at the mismatch between her new luxury car and their existing neighborhood.

Despite the wave of online scrutiny, Diana and Bahati remain one of Kenya’s most talked-about celebrity couples, often in the spotlight for their lavish lifestyle and openness with fans. Whether the G-Wagon is the real deal or just a stunt, one thing is clear: it has succeeded in getting everyone talking.
