Popular Kenyan gospel DJ Krowbar is mourning the death of his wife Joyce Wanjiku Karumba. The DJ, whose real name is Fredrick Karumba, shared the heartbreaking news with fans online. He revealed that Joyce was the mother of his three children. Her passing has left the family in deep grief. Many Kenyans have expressed sympathy as the news spread.
Joyce Wanjiku had been battling kidney complications for some time. She received a kidney transplant last year after a long health struggle. The procedure was initially successful and brought hope to the family. Sadly, complications followed and she was admitted to hospital several times. Her condition worsened despite medical efforts. She later passed away, leaving behind a young family.
DJ Krowbar announced plans to raise funds ahead of his wife’s burial. He asked for both emotional and financial support during this difficult period. The fundraiser is scheduled for Friday January 30. It will take place at All Saints Cathedral St Thomas Hall in Nairobi. The event will run from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm. He encouraged friends fans and colleagues to attend.
