Popular radio host DJ Xclusive has sparked a heated debate after criticizing digital content creators who document childbirth experiences for social media. His remarks, made during a live broadcast on Kiss 100 FM, specifically targeted celebrity couple Kabi and Milly WaJesus, whose latest viral video captured intimate moments from their labour room experience.

DJ Xclusive: “Enough is Enough!”

DJ Xclusive expressed strong disapproval of the growing trend of influencers sharing childbirth footage, arguing that some moments should remain private. He humorously compared the situation to a football match, mimicking Kabi WaJesus’ reactions in the delivery room.

“I want the camera to focus on me, and I say this with all honesty—Kabi and Milly WaJesus, imetosha (it is enough!),” he declared, igniting laughter from his co-host, Mwalimu Rachel.

While his delivery was comedic, DJ Xclusive maintained that such content pushed the boundaries of social media oversharing. “At this rate, you’re just a few steps away from showing how the baby was made,” he joked.

Mwalimu Rachel Defends the WaJesus Family

In contrast, co-host Mwalimu Rachel defended Kabi and Milly, arguing that their transparency was an extension of their digital brand.

“I love their rawness. They are just being themselves and are not afraid to share their journey. Maybe, to them, it’s just another home video,” she explained.

She further dismissed claims of oversharing, highlighting how some fans appreciate such content for its authenticity. “It’s called a Hebrew delivery! Get it right,” she exclaimed, emphasizing her point with her signature bell ring.

Public Reactions: Is Childbirth Too Private for Social Media?

DJ Xclusive’s comments have sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans. While some agree that childbirth should remain a private affair, others appreciate the WaJesus family’s openness in documenting their parenthood journey.

As the debate continues, Kabi and Milly WaJesus remain unapologetic, standing by their choice to share personal milestones with their followers. However, as DJ Xclusive put it, “Maybe some moments are best left off-camera.”
