Ebru TV Program which is understandably comedy has sparked social media anger over its contents

The program which is meant to ‘bust’ unexpected Nairobians has touched on tender toes of sexual morality.

Already, moral police boss has been alerted and my be taking over the matter.

Some of @EbruTVKenya's show, #EbruJibonge, are sexual harassment by any definition.
Watch this interaction; observe how clearly uncomfortable the women are, how the rude male host still follows & tells some of them off & how he liberally touches them!! 🤢 https://t.co/0q5pGs3ATJ pic.twitter.com/imIx5plrbv

In this one, @nickiBIGFISH walks up to young women and asks if he can kiss them. Even after he's told "No", he continues to badger this nearly underage girl who looks obviously scared & uncomfortable. This is just creepy.https://t.co/gcsLrpGTbg pic.twitter.com/YQS27diNDq

When it's not creepy, it's just downright distasteful & crass. In this one, the host walks to men, some of them quite elderly, and tells them their wives are sleeping with the caretakers.
Look at this mzee. Where's the humour in this cringy conversation?? https://t.co/TY1Kjqb7rw pic.twitter.com/NpN3g6Q6Hw

Reactions

I was once told at Kongowea market "unaringa na umeshazaa". By a total stranger who I had done nothing to. I was just passing by with my basket shopping for veggies. @ngumimeetsworld@Kurlycheeks

There is a difference between sanity and decency. This is disrespectfully cringe content. I get pissed when makangas pester me to enter a mathree Imagine kukatiwa by force for someone else's entertainment. Nope, wamenoa!

I'm here trying to figure out how perhaps there was a meeting beforehand and this passed muster.
Like for real someone thought let's disturb women minding their own business & invade their personal space as a premise for a show. pic.twitter.com/3F0Xq4zUla
