Africa Cup of Nations which will run from 15th June to 13th July will be hosted in Egypt after Cameroon were bottled out of the bid due to poor preparations
The new hosts now have only 6 months left to prepare for the host of now expanded 24 teams across the continent.
In 1959, 1986 and in 2006 Egypt hosted the contest giving them an edge to win all the competitions
Kenya’s Harambee Stars made it into the competition again nearly after 15 years.
