Migori Governor Okoth Obado who has been closely linked to the murder of a university student Sharon Otieno has not spoken over the case and neither his location is known.
The county boss was supposed to represent the Council of Governors at the ongoing African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF in Kigali, Rwanda as from September 5(the day Sharon’s lifeless body was found).
Obado who would left Kigali via Nairobi on September 4th (a day after Sharon Otieno and journalist Barrack Oduor were abducted).
The event is supposed to end on September 8th but the governor is not in Kigali, or anywhere else known to public.
“It is true the governor was to represent the CoG at the event in Rwanda but I cannot authoritatively tell you about his whereabouts. Let your Nairobi team check for him in the city,” Nation quoted a source .
Back at his home in Migori, reports indicate that the boss was last seen in the office last week. The reports adds that he left for Kigali via Nairobi.
The governors press team has also been talking to the media ‘safely’ with little information from the governor’s whereabouts.
