The worst effects of social media in the world today, are presented during a tragedy, where fake information and data become a piece of cake for most of bloggers.
During the Ethiopian plane crash, fake photos and videos spread far and wide, yet they had not been verified and the Airline Authority even warned social media over them.
Ethiopian Cargo plane
This plane came down in January 10th, 2015, the Ethiopian Airlines Cargo craft Boeing 737-400 crashed with three on board while trying to land at Accra-Kotoka Airport in Ghana
Algerian Military Plane
The photo of the Algerian military plane went also viral, claiming to be the ET302,but the photo belonged to the military plane which crashed in April 11, 2018 killing a total of 257 people in the disaster that rocked the outskirts of the capital Algiers.
