Upcoming Nakuru-based artiste Felix Mochoge, popularly known as Felo Fela, has accused Arban Tone musician Gody Tennor of conning him out of KSh 7,000, which was meant to fund a music video for their song Thumbs Up.
Felix Fela’s Claims
Fela alleged that he sent multiple payments to Gody between December and mid-January to facilitate their project. However, after receiving the money, Gody allegedly failed to honor their agreement, dodged meetings, and denied Fela copyrights to the song.
“I just want my money back because we never did any work. We were supposed to shoot the video for the song, but he refused to show up. Worse, he denied me the copyrights, and every time I try to post it, it gets flagged,” Fela lamented.
Gody Tennor’s Response
In his defense, Gody dismissed the allegations, accusing Fela of clout-chasing. He claimed that he had already fulfilled his part by adding his verse to the song.
“He is just looking for attention. I added my verse, and we released the song. Felix even posted it on YouTube but later pulled it down. Now he’s tarnishing my name and demanding money, which doesn’t make sense,” Gody stated.
Despite Gody’s response, Fela has insisted on a refund and hinted at taking legal action if the money is not returned.
The fallout has sparked heated reactions online, with fans taking sides in the dispute. Some urged Gody to refund the money, while others questioned whether KSh 7,000 was worth the controversy.
As the drama unfolds, it remains to be seen whether the two artistes will resolve their differences or take the battle to court.
