FIFA Warns Match Broadcasters Over ‘Hot’ Fans During World Cup Final

World football governing body FIFA through their head of corporate social responsibility Federico Addiechi has warned TV match broadcaster from zooming onto ‘hot’ women during the Sunday World Cup final between France and Croatia.

He noted that FIFA was also helping the battle to fight against sexism and encouraged the broadcasters no avoid zooming on attractive women during their cutaway shot moments.

“We have done it with individual broadcasters. We have done it with our host broadcast services” Addiechi is quoted.

Ealier before FIFA comments, Anti- discrimination activism group FARE Network had warned of women harassment after reporting 30 instances.

FARE had also raised fears over racism and homophobia before 2018 world cup kick-off but they have noted that cases of harassment of female fans was beyond their expectations
