The new campaign drive from Twitter aimed at improving Twitter experience by deleting fake accounts has been extended to accounts held by state officials President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
President Uhuru lost a small figure of 16,071 of his 3,234,935 followers while his deputy Ruto saw 7,211 followers deleted from his handle to a new figure of 1,968,355 followers.
Opposition leader Raila Odinga however saw his number rise over a little from from 1,923,245 to 1,923,428
