Kenyan gospel artiste Guardian Angel has stirred debate online after revealing how his partner helped him reach financial stability and personal growth. The musician, known for his outspoken nature and hit gospel tracks, said his relationship not only strengthened his career but also changed his mindset about money and success.

During a recent public appearance, Guardian Angel recounted how his partner initially focused on his music career, often questioning whether he had proper management and pushing him to realize his full potential. “She was just concerned about my life and music, but I was seeing potential. She would come to my video shoots, bring me water, and help with everything. I thought, God, this is something good,” he shared.

The gospel singer credited her with helping him become financially independent and disciplined. He said her support played a major role in transforming him into what he described as a “wealthy, wise, and strong” individual. “Today, if I tell her we are not working from today, we want to just sleep, we can never be broke. The point that God has made us reach, we cannot go hungry even if we stop working, but the truth is we keep working,” Guardian said.

His statement sparked mixed reactions online. Some netizens congratulated the couple for their success, while others accused him of being prideful. One user wrote, “Wacha pride, all those millions can disappear within a week.” Another commented, “The love is real, sema real,” while others questioned how many responsibilities they have if they claim they can never go broke.

Guardian’s remarks also reignited past conversations about his marriage. The gospel singer has faced ongoing speculation that he married his partner, Esther Musila, for money. He previously addressed the claims, saying he knew she was financially stable but never intended to depend on her. Instead, he credited her for guiding him toward independence. “I knew she was doing well, but I never went into the relationship for money. Her support helped me grow and build my own wealth,” he said.

Guardian Angel’s story continues to draw attention as a blend of faith, hard work, and partnership. His testimony highlights how personal relationships can influence success when grounded in shared goals and mutual support. Despite public criticism, he maintains that their union has brought growth, stability, and purpose, both spiritually and financially.
