Nairobians have shockingly fallen in love with the odd looking pineapple peels left behind by hawkers.
Surprisingly they are turning them into home-made booze with just an easy trick.
The recipe was shared by a savvy reading Kenyan who lifted the trick from Mexico culture of brewing beer using sugar syrup with pineapple peels.
The two ingredients are soaked for days before one can take the result with an alcohol content of about 14%.
