Citizen TV journalist will spend Moi Day holiday in custody after Kiambu Principal Magistrate Justus Kituku gave police green light to put her behind the bars for 11 more days.
Her lawyer Katwa Kigen had told the court to release Jacque Maribe on Friday citing that on 10th, October it was declared as Moi Day by the High Court last year.
But the court declined the reasons from Katwa Kigen, claiming that they believed reasons given by the prosecution were valid.
Jacque Maribe’s lover Joseph Irungu is also in police custody facing same murder charges relating to the death of Monica Kimani, lady found murdered in her Kilimani house, Nairobi.
