Celebrated Kenyan gospel singer Kambua Mutsembi has moved Kenyans after delivering a heartfelt testimony at the ongoing Rhema Feast 2025 in Uhuru Park. She opened up about her long struggle with infertility, the social stigma she endured, and the faith that carried her through.

Kambua recalled how, despite being a gospel minister with a thriving music career, society labelled her barren. She described the pain of receiving a devastating medical report that declared she would not conceive. “I remember the day I got the final doctor’s report that said it was not going to happen. My heart broke into a million pieces,” she said.

Her testimony revealed the unwavering support of her husband, who encouraged her to hold on to faith even in her darkest moments. “I showed my husband that doctor’s report because I was devastated. He said, ‘We are going to keep this one because one day, we will tell people what the doctors said and then show them what God did.’”

Kambua shared that her waiting season lasted seven years before she finally conceived her first son, Nathaniel, who is now six years old. She later gave birth to a second son, Malachi, who passed away, a loss that left her questioning God’s promise. “After giving me a promise, how do I not get to enjoy it? Even then, Jesus reassured me, saying, ‘You have not lost your child; he is with Me in heaven.’”

Two years later, she welcomed another child, completing what she described as a testimony of God’s miracle-working power. “Now the so-called barren woman is a mother of three. God is a miracle-working God.”

Her story deeply resonated with the congregation, with many moved by her honesty and resilience. She encouraged Kenyans not to give up in seasons of waiting, reminding them that God’s timing is always perfect.

Kambua’s testimony quickly spread on social media, sparking messages of support and admiration. Fans praised her courage, with many noting how her journey inspired them to keep faith through challenges. Comments highlighted the hope her story brings to women facing similar struggles, with some calling her one of the strongest voices of faith in the nation.

Beyond her testimony, Kambua also reminded Kenyans that her story is not only about motherhood but about perseverance, faith, and trusting in God’s promises even when circumstances seem impossible.

Kambua’s appearance at Rhema Feast has reaffirmed her influence beyond music, as she continues to inspire through her personal journey and message of faith.
