Kenyans Mourn Sudden Death Of Musician Ally B

The Kenyan music fraternity is in mourning following the sudden death of popular Coast-based musician Ali Mwakaribu, popularly known as Ally B.

Ally B was rushed to Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital on 1st November 2023 afternoon after complaining of feeling unwell. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The musician was known for his popular tracks such as “Maria”, “Silali”, “Yelele”, “Bembea” and “Kadzo”. He had collaborated with several other Kenyan artists, including Size 8.

Ally B’s death has sent shockwaves through the Kenyan music industry and among his fans. Various artistes from the coastal region, including Ali Mahaba and Shirko, have eulogised him as a legendary artiste.

The family of Ally B has said that they will soon share details on his send-off.

Ally B’s death is a major loss for the Kenyan music industry. He was a talented musician and a kind soul. He will be missed by many.
