In Africa, Kenya’s Nairobi leads on two negative accolades, it is the only city in Africa with the largest slum as well as the city with the largest number of sex workers.
These negative publicity has been rekindled by the fresh revelations of live sex porn which is taking place in the same slum, Kibera.
According to the sources, the brothels are popular in the areas of Makina, Gatwekera and Laini Saba located a the heartbeat of the slum.
It is believed that girls who are facing stiff competition from the illegal prostitution in town have turned to live sex porn as a means of winning their daily bread.
With just Ksh.150 one can get an entrance ticket but the tickets could go as high as Ksh.500 if the girls are fresh and new in the den.
One would think that the police are not aware, you are wrong since it is know that they even receive bribes in order to protect them from the law.
Girls have no say in this case, once paid they cannot decide whether the man should use protection or not.
According a United Nations Population Fund report released in May this year, one in every 117 females is a sex worker.
The report indicates that an average sex worker earns Sh1,500 per day. Nairobi has the highest concentration of female sex workers at 29,494, while the rest of the country has 107,181 sex workers.
