From 1 November 2022, you can apply digitally via www.kulturweit.de/en/tandem for a place to gain international experience and develop new perspectives for six months from January 2023.
Together with people from Germany, Kenya, Madagascar and Tanzania you will explore the history of colonialism and its relevance today from May to October 2023.
You will attend an international seminar in Kenya and develop projects against racism in teams of two, which you can implement in Germany in the fields of culture, education and sustainability. kulturweit supports you financially and pedagogically.
A language course is also included.
You can participate if you live in Germany, Kenya, Madagascar or Tanzania, are of age and have basic language skills in German and English or French.
You should speak one of the three languages very well.
Previous knowledge of the subject or a specific school-leaving qualification is not necessary.
