Celebrated radio host Maina Kageni is back on his feet, quite literally, and there is proof ladies and gentlemen.

The jovial Classic 105 presenter has been off air for more than four weeks following a serious leg injury that he sustained after slipping during the Kajiado leg of his Road Trip Tour.

MRI scans of his knee showed he had ruptured multiple ligaments and the doctors advised him that surgery was the best option if he wants to walk again.

A few days later, Maina underwent a surgery at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, and it was a success.

Since then the radio host has maintained a low profile on social media – presumably because he was still recovering – and it was only until yesterday that he was seen in public for the very first time.

Maina shared photos of himself alongside Ugandan Singer Jose Chameleone who is in the country ahead of his show tonight at Galileo Lounge in Westlands.

Check out the photos below.

To all ye who have missed him, you can now breathe a sigh of relief as he is expected to return to the airwaves sometime next week.
