When Joseph Mwiti took a loan of Ksh.280,000 from Equity Bank, he knew that his business will fly and give him cash to pay back the loan together with a margin profit.
Since then, 4 years ago, things have been thorns and shrubs at his business hub. He hoped to lease a farm and plant tea on a large scale production.
The tea farm was affected by bad weather needless to say there was poor turn out on even odd jobs like tea picking to recover his loan.
Now, the bank is after his debt after actuatning his personal assets and dairy livestock valued at about Ksh.54,000.
