A man who tried to remove a ring from his mahood unsuccessfully was rushed to hospital when he could not hold onto the pain.
The man from Chuka/Igambang’ombe Sub County was taken to Chuka County Referral Hospital for the ring to be removed.
A doctor who took care of him noted that the man from Mariani was taken to surgical room before he was sedated for surgery.
The ring would later be removed using a saw.
“The man had seriously injured his male organ as he tried to remove the ring that was very tight,” she said adding that the man was recovering well and will be discharged once he is safe.
