Matatu Accident Shows How Guard Rails Have Made Roads More Dangerous

Guard rails erected largely on dangerous parts of the roads, seem to be making our roads more dangerous than thought before.

These rails are strategically placed so as to prevent an accident from turning worse, however they are even making things worse than previously thought.

Take for instance, when a vehicle hits such a safety rail, it is supposed to absorb its shock therefore controlling its speech and direction.

Speed and direction are the greatest determinants of an extend of any accident.

But take for instance, when an accident involving two matatu’s near museum road, ended up turning worse. When the Matatu in gray hit the rails while on top of the flyover, it instead went into a ‘flying’ mode before landing on another Matatu.
