Duncan Ndegwa is not your normal matatu tout on every busy Nairobi day.
Besides collecting bus fares, Ndegwa is also preaching and praying during the ride.

Hii kazi unajua inakuwa na changamoto mingi sana na tunaifanya tu kwa neema na Mungu akikuongoza hakuna mahali huwezi fanyia kazi sababu umeweka Mungu mbele (I know without God I wouldn’t be here this morning and I wouldn’t have this job. This job has many challenges and we only manage through God’s grace. If you put God first, there is nowhere you cant work),” says Duncan before introducing himself as a born again Christian.
The particular commuter who had recorded the clip on Wednesday captioned her video, “Unlike other touts who steal from passengers, Duncan route 33 always starts his journey with a word of prayer. Watch him pray for us yesterday. Good example to others indeed!”
