Ismael Khamisi from Nairobi city, has been living with his family in an old abandoned car for more than two years old.
Khamisi whose story first appeared on KTN news, said that he was forced into the car after he lost his job where he was working as a casual labourer.
His predicaments worsened even more when his wife left him with a little baby who was barely six months old.
But Khamisi who hails from Kibera’s Makina estate will have a reason to smile after Nairobi County First Lady Primrose Mbuvi came to his aide thanks to KTN story.
Khamisi and his two kids aged his two sons aged 10 and 13 years will be provided with better shelter after being relocated from their place of no hope, besides their mother would be traced and brought back.
The two boys were currently schooling at Undugu Basic Education Unit in Kibra, where pupils are offered non-formal education for free.
“I will provide a fully furnished house to Mr Khamisi, pay his rent for the next six months and also ensure his kids are back in schools,” she said.
