A boy from Nairobi living in Kibera slums has been accused of impregnating three teenage girls and denying responsibility.

One of the victims aged 15 years old said that after confronting him, he denied that he was not responsible for the baby.

“We met after we went for a photo shoot and within 90 days I found out I was pregnant. But when I told him I was carrying his child, he denied it,” she says.

Another teen girl who was lured to the boy’s advances with sweets also reported that the teen boy denied impregnating her.

“I would later find out that I was pregnant and when I confronted him, he denied it,” she says.

When the mother learned of the case, the boy was arrested and taken to Langáta Police Station.

But his parents quickly secured his released from the police cells.

The disturbing story comes just when the  Court of Appeal had proposed to have the sex consent age lowered from the current 18 years to 16 years.
