Last Wednesday the company Samsung introduced its new Galaxy S8 smartphone, which incorporates a virtual assistant, is water resistant and has no buttons on the front, but that’s not all, after the failure generated with the Galaxy Note 7, this New one also brings with it a fault.

Samsung relied on its new smartphone to regain its position as number one in the world, place that snatched Apple in the fourth quarter of 2016 after the scandal.

The face recognition system of the new Samsung smartphone, the Galaxy S8, can be tricked with photos, reports the Gizmodo portal.

The new “smartphone” of the South Korean giant, presented on March 29, has an unlock function through face recognition. However, this innovative security system can be circumvented simply by placing a photograph of the device owner on the phone, the RT Agency reported.

Samsung, for its part, says it can correct this deficiency before the official sales period of the device, scheduled for April 21, begins.

Samsung’s flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 7, went on sale in August 2016, but shortly thereafter the company removed it from the market due to the numerous cases of battery fires. Later production of Galaxy Note 7 was completely suspended. It is estimated that Note 7 caused losses of about 3,000 million dollars to the Korean company.
