Governor Mike Sonko was arrested in Voi town following orders from DPP Noordin Haji.
Sonko will face graft charges amounting to loss of more than 357 million.
Sonko also risks loss of his sit supposed he is found guilty.
If Sonko steps down as a governor, Nairobi County Assembly Beatrice Elachi will assume office on acting capacity
