Content creator Oga Obinna revealed in 2025 that he welcomed a fifth child under surprising circumstances. He explained that he only learned about the child through a third party after his baby mama, Tallie, had hidden both her pregnancy and the birth for over a year.

In a candid video, Obinna shared that he had taken all precautions to avoid having another child. “I did not even know that baby existed. We had taken precautions not to have a baby. I found out about the baby when she had already been born and was already growing,” he said. Despite the unexpected news, he immediately stepped up to co-parent, acknowledging his responsibility. “The baby did not make any mistakes, I will step up. Where do I come in? Since then, I came in, and I am like, ‘That’s my baby’,” he added.

Obinna revealed that he had asked Tallie to use a birth control method and had even paid for it. He admitted that the pregnancy happened without his knowledge, explaining, “We had a handbrake, and I thought we were cool. Once we indulge, you get pregnant, and I don’t know. We don’t work. You go your way, I go my way. One year later, I understand that you were pregnant, which is the whole thing that happened. I made peace with it. I have been reckless before; this time, I was not.”

The content creator described the day he discovered his child coincided with him hosting Dem wa Facebook’s homecoming event in Kitale. Despite the shock, he committed to supporting the child and co-parenting responsibly, demonstrating a willingness to adapt to unexpected life changes.

Oga Obinna’s story highlights the challenges and responsibilities of co-parenting, especially when unexpected circumstances arise. His openness about the situation resonates with many who face complex family dynamics while balancing personal and public life.
