A boda boda rider was injured when an oil tanker collided with a passenger train in Donholm, Nairobi county.
According to Fred Majiwa of St. John’s Ambulance, the rider was rushed to the nearby Mama Lucy Hospital for treatment.
The tanker was headed to Embakassi before it hit and derailed the oncoming train.
The morning incident caused heavy traffic knurls for the better apart of the day. Eye witnesses reported reckless driving from the tanker driver
In 2013 October 30th, 11 people died in a similar accident when a train ran through an Ummoiner service bus and killed 11 people.
The accident occurred in the same area.
