Writing for Youth Village Kenya
Youth Village Kenya – Kenya’s Youth Portal is based in Kenya, managed by youth, providing information to youths and everyone else about youth.
We aim to use the youth online platform to share positive stories of development with core focus on employment, entrepreneurship, education and youth.YV covers topics in different areas of interest. We welcome contributions from everybody, as long as we deem it relevant to youths. We have full-time editors who ensure the quality of the content published.
Contributing content is an extraordinary opportunity to share your expertise and guarantee your position as a leading authority in your area of choice. We will publish your article with a byline, bio and your contact details, if you so desire. We are the first youth portal to publish poems and short stories among other categories of content. Youth organisations can send us news, events, job openings and other related content.
Become a Regular Contributor
We shall open a profile for regular contributors, whose articles are of a consistent quality.
General Guidelines
– We take 400-600 words an article.
– We prefer articles accompanied by photos but will nevertheless take those without.
– Articles must be relevant to youth.
– If you want to be a regular contributor, send us an article on a weekly basis.
