The award winning singer and also a board member of National Authority for Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) has sponsored 100 youth to join colleges and better their lives. The philanthropic singer partnered with Unity college in Buru Buru where the reformed youths would be able to kick start their careers and make a life for themselves.
An emotional Jaguar who is known to have come from a very humble background said that the youth deserved a second to better their lives as some had resulted to alcohol and drugs while trying to drown the pain of poverty.
He thanked the Buru Buru college for accepting the new students and helping them to reach their destiny. He said that after their education, the youths would be used as ambassadors to spread ‘say no to drugs’ message. The college is said to continue enrolling 100 rehabilitated youth every three months and Jaguar called upon other educational institutions to join in and do the same.
The philanthropic star recently launched his ‘Jaguar Foundation’ is said to have put aside millions in his bid to help in rehabilitating slum youths who have been abusing drugs and also those that are from humble backgrounds.
The is truly a celebrity to behold. I just wish more and more celebrities would join in and have the heart of helping youths to better their lives. #KudosJaguar
