Plane carry FIFA World Cup trophy touched down at JKIA on 26th February 2018 moments after departing from Adis Ababa in Ethiopia.
Fans will be given a chance to view the trophy at Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) a day later.
This will be the third time FIFA cup touched down on the Kenyan soil, after the beverage firm Coca Cola had organized it in 2010 and 2014.
The trophy weighs 6.1Kg and it is purely made of gold.
The trophy however can only be touched by heads of states and former winners . So for Kenya, only President Uhuru Kenyatta will be mandated to hold it.
The tour started in September last year and will pass through more than 50 countries across six continents travelling 126,000 kilometres in nine months leading up to the 2018 showdown in Russia.
51 countries. 100 days. Millions of excited fans. And the one and only REAL FIFA #WorldCup Trophy. Check out the 2018 FIFA World Cup @TrophyTour by Coca-Cola global journey: https://t.co/RaVPyfaD5v
